The 2000 Lincoln Town Car was manufactured in California with rounded lines and a trimmer, and less formal look compared to previous models. This year's Lincoln Town Car is available in three models: the Signature Series, Cartier Series and the Executive Series which is offered as a fleet car. Executive and Signature Series is equipped with a 205-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 while Cartier is powered by a more powerful 220-horsepower V8 with standard dual exhaust.

The front and rear passenger compartments have ample space and the rear pillar is redesigned to make the backseat cozier than in previous models.
