1997 Lincoln Town Car
For this year, Town Car is offered in three versions: the base Executive series,
the volume Signature series and the fully-equipped, top-of-the-line Cartier which
is designed for those people who doesn't want to waste their time checking option
boxes. Lincoln Town Car has standard luxury content and pretty little goodies
that are consisting of illuminated rear ashtrays, robe cords on the seatbacks,
trunk key cover, an extra power point beneath the dashboard, cellular phone wiring
and many more. New and improved for 1997 is a fully new recirculating-ball steering
system that is more accurate, smoother and more resilient than the previous systems
used. On the interior rim, a more durable cloth is used.

Lincoln Town Car offers effortless cruising, easy fingertip operation of each
system, quiet mechanical operations, high-end materials and abundant traditional
American road-hugging size and weight. Town Car Signature Series possess almost
anything that you can possibly get on a Town Car. The Cartier achieves special
wheels, larger tires, rear vanity mirrors, a JBL sound system, leather seating,
traction assist and heated seats. Bluegreen electronic digital read-outs is used
in the instrument panel for all its instrumentation.
The said electronic read-outs are big, easy to read and not cramped together.
The main display is at low-level and hooded so that sunlight will not obscure
the information. Also, some lenses have been modified to lessen the reflection
and glare on 1997 models. 1997 Lincoln Town Car boasts its five-star seats teamed
with generous head, hip, leg and shoulder room that made the Town Car interior
ideal for two couples living together and the 22.3 cubic-foot trunk tops the automotive
industry in terms of width, depth, breadth and utility.
